Mr. DSA 2025

Episode Number 46

Mr. DSA 2025

June 19, 2026

In this episode, we sit down with an old friend; Jeremy Hampton! Jeremy has been a volunteer for Idaho 4-H programs for several decades, at this point. His own children grew up in the program and held various leadership positions. Now, even after his own children have grown and “left the nest,” Jeremy is still volunteering. He works to raise funds for the programs he’s involved with in Eastern Idaho, and he continues to teach, inspire, and foster the next generation of great leaders in Idaho 4-H.

Jeremy was recognized at the county, district, and state levels with the Distinguished Service Award in 2025. This achievement is a milestone for any leader, and signifies the tireless efforts of a leader to support the Idaho 4-H program. The Idaho 4-H Roundup has showcased several of these terrific leaders over the years, and their stories always inspire greatness. Go back to listen from our other friends. We hope that you’ll be just as inspired about the great leaders that Idaho has grown through the 4-H program.

What is 4‑H?

4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. For more than 100 years, 4‑H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better.

Through life-changing 4‑H programs, nearly six million kids and teens have taken on critical societal issues, such as addressing community health inequities, engaging in civil discourse and advocating for equity and inclusion for all.
